Naicet sounds like „nice set“ and has caused some confusion and funny situations by the dance floor. But it is her actual name.
Being half Mexican and half German the name comes from the language of the Maya, meaning „dreaming next to ...“. In contrast to that, her sound isn’t quite dreamy but can rather be described as drifty, dark but melodic.
Originating from Hip Hop and RnB, Naicet discovered a fast growing passion for electronic music in her early twenties in Berlin and found her way behind the decks in 2020 beneath the Mystic Creatures event series.
Her energetic sets have reached several German clubs and festivals but also international stages.
